INFORMATION
At Premier Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine P.C., we take our obligation to stay open and care for our patients very seriously. Our ability to treat orthopedic, spinal problems, and podiatric issues alleviates the burden currently placed on our hospitals and urgent care centers so that they can concentrate on dealing with the effects of the virus. To that end, we will remain open for our patients as long as we are provided the guidance to do so by the CDC and local officials.
As of right now we are working hard to ensure that our patients are spread out over as many hours as possible. We have new procedures in place to ensure that your time spent in the waiting room will not be prolonged and that you will be able to see your provider quickly. We are also offering Telemedicine. Please call the office to schedule an appointment and request a Virtual Visit with one of our doctors or physician assistants.
Amid the situation we are all experiencing with the COVID-19 pandemic, our offices will call you prior to your appointment for a telephone screening and to provide further instructions. We are requesting that all patients that have a mask, so please wear one at your scheduled visit.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
We are asking our patients to arrive for their appointment either alone or with no more than one individual over the age of 18. Additionally, we may ask you to wait in the car or outside the waiting room until we are ready to bring you in.
To facilitate this, we will ask for your mobile number at the time of check-in and call you when the doctor is ready to see you. We are taking all of the necessary precautions and following CDC guidelines, to keep your safety the first priority. One of our staff members will be outside our offices to check for a fever and make sure everything is ready for you.

CLEANING OF OUR FACILITIES
We have removed all magazines from the waiting area and are sanitizing all common areas. We clean and disinfect each patient room before and after every visit.
Door knobs, desks, counters, and frequently touched areas and equipment are wiped down and disinfected repeatedly throughout the day. Hand sanitizer is readily available at check-in and exam rooms, and hand-washing may be done in our exam rooms and bathroom facilities.
